VPNMove Setup Guide
Start with your account and plan, then import your subscription on a device. Skip any steps you’ve already completed using the links below.
ACCOUNT
Create an account and save your login details
Select the “Start Free” option below to open the account creation page in the VPNMove user dashboard. Choose a username and password, then follow the on-screen instructions. VPNMove doesn’t require an email address; you can create an account with a username and password. Before submitting, check that your username is spelled correctly and save your login details in a trusted password manager so you can find the account later on other devices.
If you already have an account, use the dashboard’s sign-in option instead of creating another account for a new device. Your plans, orders, and subscriptions are all tied to the same account, which you’ll also use when setting up other devices. After signing in, make sure you’re on Account Overview, not the account creation page, before choosing a plan.
Don’t save your password on a shared computer or post screenshots of your signed-in dashboard in public forums. If you need to report an issue, you can share the on-screen message, but hide your account details, order information, and subscription content. Creating an account only gives you access to the dashboard; available data depends on your plan and order status.
PLAN
Choose a plan and check your order status
Open the Plans section in the user dashboard and choose a data allowance that fits how often you use the service. For regular use, compare the monthly subscriptions: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, or ¥28/month for 500GB. Monthly data resets on your activation date, not on the first day of each calendar month. Check the dashboard for your activation and reset dates to see when your data will refresh.
If you use the service less often, compare the data packages: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB. Data packages don’t expire and remain available until used. The difference is how data is allocated, not the number of devices: the service supports unlimited devices. Compare the options on the Plans page, then choose one in the dashboard. Check the billing type as well as the price.
Before placing your order, check the plan name, data allowance, and total due. Choose Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT, then follow the payment page instructions. After paying, return to the user dashboard to check the order result and plan status. Don’t assume your plan is active just because the payment app opened. If the payment hasn’t synced yet, refresh the order status and check the original order before taking further action.
If you upgrade mid-plan, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Check the dashboard for the exact result. VPNMove offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund policy; see the Terms of Service for eligibility and instructions. Once the dashboard shows an active plan, continue to your subscription. If the client shows an empty list, return here and check your account status first.
SUBSCRIPTION
Get your subscription link from Account Overview
Return to Account Overview in the user dashboard and check your current plan and remaining data. Then find the subscription section. The subscription link lets a client retrieve server configurations; it isn’t a server name or your login password. If the dashboard offers an import option for your client, use it. Otherwise, copy the full link and keep it on your clipboard temporarily.
Don’t edit or remove anything from the end of the link after copying it, and don’t select only the part that looks like the main URL. The link may contain parameters needed to identify your subscription; without them, configuration retrieval can fail. This page shows a format example only: https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN. It’s a fictional example and won’t connect. Use the subscription link from your own user dashboard.
Treat your subscription link like an account credential. Don’t share it in group chats, public documents, or online conversion tools. When troubleshooting, share the error message and client name rather than the full link. If you think the link has been exposed, check the dashboard for a subscription reset option or contact support through a ticket. After replacing the link, update the saved subscription on each device.
Once you have your subscription link, go to the section for your device below. Import is complete when the client retrieves the configuration and displays a server list—not just when it says “Added.” For more on subscription updates, expired links, and account status, see the FAQ. Then continue here to connect for the first time.
CLIENT
Import your subscription on each platform
Download clients from the user dashboard. This page doesn’t provide installation files. Choose a client that supports the subscription format provided by the dashboard; don’t rely on the file extension alone to determine compatibility.
Windows: Add a remote subscription
Sign in to the dashboard and open the client downloads section. Choose the VPNMove client for Windows, download the version that matches your system, and follow the installation instructions. On first launch, open configuration or subscription management and look for an option such as “Import from URL” or “Add subscription.” You need a proxy client that supports remote subscriptions, not a browser download tool. If you already have a compatible client, check which subscription formats it accepts.
Paste the full link you copied into the URL field. You can enter a name that’s easy to recognize. Save it, update the configuration, and wait for the server list to appear. Then select this configuration as the active one. If the dashboard offers one-click import, allow the browser to open the client when prompted. If the app doesn’t launch, return to the manual import steps. Don’t keep changing advanced options yet; connect after the servers have loaded.
macOS: Import and select your configuration
In the dashboard’s client downloads section, choose the VPNMove client for macOS and check the system’s installation prompts. After launching the app, look for configuration or subscription management in the main window or menu bar. Add the link using a remote configuration client that supports the dashboard’s subscription format. If macOS shows a warning about the app’s source or asks for network access, confirm you have the right app and follow the system instructions. Don’t change unrelated security settings just to complete the import.
After saving the subscription, update it and check that the configuration is selected for use. Some clients let you save multiple configurations, but saving one doesn’t automatically enable it. Once the server list appears, turn on the connection from the main screen. If the client asks to enable a system proxy or network extension, follow the prompt for its current mode. Leave the default rules unchanged for now so you can identify the cause of any issue without changing the mode, server, and configuration all at once.
Android: Save your subscription and approve system access
Sign in to the dashboard to get the VPNMove client for Android. Install and open it, then go to the subscription or configuration page. Choose the URL import option, paste the link, and save it. Refresh the configuration list. Use a client that supports remote subscriptions and Android’s system VPN connection. Don’t enter the link in Wi-Fi settings, a browser’s address bar, or the app’s account sign-in form.
If you use one-click import from a browser, return to the client and check that the configuration was added and updated. When you connect, Android may ask for system VPN permission; confirm the app name before allowing it. If another VPN app is already running, check which app is handling your network so you don’t mistake its connection icon for an active VPNMove subscription. You can check background connection behavior separately after confirming the initial connection works.
iOS: Get the client from the dashboard
On iOS, use a client that supports subscription import and system VPN configuration. Get it from the user dashboard. The App Store link for the iOS client requires an active, unexpired plan. If the dashboard asks you to choose a plan first, return to the Plans section and check your account status. Don’t pick an app just because its name looks similar in search results, and don’t use installation files intended for other platforms on iOS.
After installing and opening the client, add the link from the dashboard using the subscription, configuration, or URL import option. If you use one-click import, confirm that iOS opens the intended client. Save and update the subscription; the server list should then appear. When connecting for the first time, iOS may ask to add a VPN configuration. Check the app details and follow the system prompt. To change servers later, use the client rather than manually editing the server settings in iOS.
CONNECT
Connect to a server and check your network exit
Once the server list has loaded, choose a server suited to the region of the service you want to access, then turn on the client’s connection switch. If the client offers rule mode, you can start with it for everyday browsing. The name and behavior of each mode depend on the client. Selecting a server, enabling network routing, and granting system permission are separate steps. Changing the server name alone usually won’t change your actual network route.
Keep the client running. First open the website or app you want to use, then visit Network Check to see your browser’s current network exit. In rule mode, different requests may take different routes, so the result only shows the exit used for that specific check. It doesn’t prove that every app uses the same server. Verify your connection by checking the client status, access to your target service, and network exit—not just the connection icon in your system tray.
If the service you want still won’t open, first confirm that your device can connect to the internet normally. Then check your plan and data in the dashboard, and make sure the configuration updated, a server is selected, and the connection is on. If the problem continues, change only the server and try the same service again to see if anything changes. Don’t switch clients, change modes, and reinstall the app all at once, or it will be hard to tell what fixed the issue.
If a webpage loads but sign-in, regional content, or a specific feature doesn’t work as expected, the service may have its own account rules or regional requirements. A successful server connection doesn’t guarantee that every third-party feature will work. For streaming region detection, AI tool access, or choosing a server during peak hours, see the FAQ and Servers and protocols. Advanced troubleshooting isn’t covered here.
After your first successful connection, keep this working configuration and import the same account’s subscription on your other devices. VPNMove supports unlimited devices, but you’ll need to import the client and grant system access on each one. If you need help, open a ticket from the user dashboard and include your device platform, client message, server, and steps to reproduce the issue. Hide your subscription link and account credentials so support can focus on the problem.
